Telco systems is looking for a technical writer. The technical writer will create detailed technical documentation related to network equipment and newly developed software features. He/she will provide User Guides in sync with software releases. The technical writer will describe configuration commands and provide explanations on how to use these commands. Also, description of technology and equipment will sometimes be involved.

Qualifications


• degree/diploma in English
  
• degree in engineering, preferably IT or Computer Science
  
• expertise in working with technical writing tools such as MS Word, MS Visio, Adobe Acrobat
  

Assets


• experience in a tech writing role in software, hardware or networking environment
  
• experience working with web-publishing tools
  
• knowledge of networking protocols and related equipment
  

This position requires to get on with people and be able to work as part of an international team.
